Thanksgiving - 2001

LOL put together a Thanksgiving luncheon for all IS&T Tech/Customer Services Staff, including the Lotus Notes Team. The luncheon took place on Wednesday, November 21st, from 11:30 to 1:30 in the LL-A Conference
Room.This year were a little different. Turkey and Ham was provided by LOL and all other dishes will be pot luck..

Annual Picnic - 2001

Once again, IS&T had its annual picnic, located at Steve Cherep's place in Lincoln. This year the festivities were hosted by LOL. We had some of the same
activities as last year, as well as some new ones for this year.
As you'll see, the kids toys weren't only for the kids!! Turn out was wonderful, and everyone seemed to have a great time. Thank you all who helped, and all who came.

May 22, 2001 All Customer Support Meeting

This was the All Customer Support Meeting, held about once a year.
All customer staff was there. The day started with some printer training, followed with some training/updates on our network infrastructure. Config demonstrated how the new NFOCUS NT image will run, and Broc gave a presentation on SMS. LOL then put on a small play written by Gene. All in all, it was a good meeting.

Eric's Last Day With IS&T
|

|
Eric Whiteman started with IS&T as a temporary back in November 1997. Shortly after, he was hired into a full time position January of 1998. He recently accepted a position working as a computer tech
for a Keno distribution company.
While with IS&T, Eric has earned his MCP, and is currently working on his MCSE. He was affectionately known as our in-house printer tech. This didn't always please him, but he enjoyed it nonetheless. His skills with be missed. Here are a few pictures of his last day with IS&T.

Annual Picnic - 2000

Every year the head of Technical Services opens his home up for an
picnic. This is where we can all get together and have a good time without talking shop. There is plenty to do from volleyball to horseshoes, and lots of food. This year, people were invited form Technical Services, Customer Support and Computer Associates. The turnout was pretty good.

Take Your Kids To Work Day

|
"Take Your Kids to Work" day was a lot of fun around here at HHSS-IST. Instead of our sons and daughters sitting with their mom or dad and watching them do a sometimes boring job, the management got together
and decided to put on a small tour of IS&T, and show them what their parents do every day.

Hastings Move - November 1998
|
|
|
|
Here is a potpourri of pictures captured from a video, and some from a digital camera, taken during a large move we had done in Hastings in November of 1998. There were four hardware techs, a DCS L2 tech, and a
contractor who went out from Lincoln to help Joe with this move. There were around 70 PCs to move from different sites to a newly remodeled central site.
